Building Plymouth is a council-led partnership that looks to attract local people in the city of Plymouth into the exciting world of construction. With over 10,000 jobs needed in the city over the next five years, Building Plymouth aims to match employers with a highly skilled workforce to transform the city and beyond.
The Actuate team was asked to help create a responsive and optimised website that effectively communicated the aims of the organisation through clear, engaging and concise content for several target audiences. From here, Actuate developed a social media strategy for both Facebook and Twitter, which has gone from strength-to-strength.
Keen to track the responsiveness of the Building Plymouth’s marketing activities, prospective supporters, employers and students are asked to report how they first heard about Building Plymouth. Both the website and its social media presence have been reported as the top performing communication channels to date.
